A Vermont State medical marijuana facility, operated by the Vermont Patients Alliance, has been burglarized.

According to an early report from the Associated Press, Vermont State Police stated that perpetrator(s) illegally entered the cultivation facility over the course of three days, stealing multiple marijuana plants.

Reached for comment, a Vermont Patients Alliance spokesperson told Vermont Cannabis News that “We are saddened that an individual would steal products intended for medical use for those with debilitating medical conditions.” As the investigation is still ongoing, they were unable to offer further comment.

Vermont State Police are asking anyone with any information regarding this burglary to come forward.
