On Sunday, December 10, Waterbury Center’s Zenbarn is set to host two events celebrating the 2017 hemp harvest. Vermont Cannabis Association’s inaugural Holiday Hemp Market features local hemp and CBD brands, along with product samples and demonstrations. There will also be a cash bar featuring local hemp beer and craft CBD cocktails. CBD massage and meditation workshops will be available upstairs in the Zenbarn Studio. Running from 4-9 pm, the Holiday Hemp Market is free to attend and open to the public.

Concurrently, Zenbarn will also be hosting the inaugural Hemp & Hops Dinner, developed in collaboration with Vermont Cannabis Association and Zero Gravity Craft Brewery. The Dinner will feature a five-course hemp and CBD menu with beer pairings curated by Zero Gravity’s Paul Sayler. Local jazz duo, Bruce Sklar and Jeremy Hill, will be performing live during and after dinner service. The Hemp & Hops Dinner is a ticketed event, with two seatings at 5 and 7 pm.

Both events will support the development of the Vermont Cannabis Association, the state’s only nonpartisan, educational nonprofit focused on the local cannabis and hemp community. VCA collaborates with members and affiliates to provide news and information, agritourism resources, marketing programs, networking opportunities, and career services for the Vermont cannabis and hemp industries.
