Beginning October 14, Green State Gardener will host a free, bi-monthly class on hemp and cannabis cultivation at their Pine Street shop.
Kelsy Raap, Green State Gardener’s General Manager, will be teaching the course. “It’s great for new medical cardholders, as well as green thumbs, and people curious about hemp,” she explained. While the class is ideal for those looking to break into the world of hemp and cannabis, it’s also geared towards those beginning their study and practice in the field of cannabis cultivation. Through four simplified steps, one the focus for each class, participants will be able to grow medical-grade cannabis by the end of the course. At the end of the class cycle, the classes will reset, so if any attendee has missed a week, there will be an opportunity to make up the missed class.
